Morningside Center

A complex program, and a simple organizational typology: a 400,000 ft2 facility for Columbia University and Harlem, organized into four intersecting strips. This concept was modulated and instantiated through parametric studies of program, site conditions, and simple organizational diagrams, repeatedly translated and reinterpreted through drawings and hand sketches.
